Your agreement with SocialBridge
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SocialBridge AI's websites, applications, roleplay tools, clinician features, and related services (the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Services. If you use SocialBridge for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to create or use a SocialBridge account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Services only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. Parent-managed accounts for children under 13 are not currently available.
Provide accurate account information, keep your credentials confidential, and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account unless caused by SocialBridge's failure to use reasonable security measures.
What SocialBridge provides
SocialBridge provides AI-assisted social-communication practice, including roleplay, message rewriting, scripts, preparation tools, generated feedback, transcription, and optional voice playback. Features may change as we improve the Services.
SocialBridge is a practice and preparation tool. It does not guarantee a particular social, educational, employment, relationship, or health outcome.
AI output and your responsibility
AI output is generated from patterns in data and may be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate, or unsuitable for your situation. Similar prompts may produce similar or different responses. You are responsible for reviewing a suggestion before using it in a real conversation or decision.
Do not rely on SocialBridge as the sole source of truth for important medical, legal, financial, employment, safety, or emergency decisions. Read the AI and medical disclaimer.
Acceptable use
You may not use the Services to:
- Break the law, violate another person's rights, or facilitate harmful conduct.
- Threaten, exploit, harass, stalk, or impersonate another person.
- Create or distribute sexual exploitation content or content that endangers minors.
- Generate instructions for violence, self-harm, illegal activity, or evading safety controls.
- Upload content you do not have the right to use or disclose.
- Probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass restrictions protecting the Services.
- Use automated means to extract content or access the Services outside supported interfaces.
- Present AI-generated output as professional advice or as a clinical diagnosis from SocialBridge.
- Upload protected health information (PHI) or use the Services to record, transmit, or store health or medical records.
We may limit or block content and activity that violates these Terms or creates a reasonable safety, security, or legal risk.
Your content and our intellectual property
You retain the rights you have in content you submit. You grant SocialBridge a limited, non-exclusive right to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as reasonably needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the Services as described in our Privacy Policy.
Subject to applicable law and third-party rights, you may use output generated for you. AI output may not be unique, and another user may receive similar output.
The Services, software, design, brand, and original materials provided by SocialBridge are owned by SocialBridge or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer those rights to you.
Clinician features
A clinician connection does not create a clinician-patient relationship with SocialBridge. Users control the categories of information shared through SocialBridge, and clinicians must respect those permissions and use independent professional judgment.
SocialBridge output is not a clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment plan, or substitute for a clinician's professional obligations. Clinicians are responsible for determining whether and how the Services are appropriate for their clients and practice.
SocialBridge is not a HIPAA covered entity or business associate and is not designed to store protected health information (PHI). Clinicians must not use the Services to record, transmit, or store PHI, and should practice with roles or general descriptions rather than identifiable client health details.
Subscriptions and payment
Some features require a paid subscription. Prices, billing periods, included features, and renewal terms are shown before purchase. Subscriptions may renew automatically until canceled through the payment channel used to purchase them.
App store, Stripe, RevenueCat, refund, and cancellation terms may also apply. Canceling a subscription stops future renewal but does not automatically delete your account or saved content.
Suspension, termination, and deletion
You may stop using SocialBridge at any time. You can request account and data deletion by emailing support@getsocialbridge.com from your account email.
We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a material breach of these Terms, nonpayment, fraud, security risk, harm to users, or legal requirement. We will provide notice when reasonably possible. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
Service disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every conversation or purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, SocialBridge will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes, disputes, and contact
We may update these Terms when the Services or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version and provide additional notice or request renewed acceptance when a change is material. Continued use after the effective date of non-material changes means the updated Terms apply.
Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue. Applicable law may give you rights that vary by location and cannot be waived by these Terms.
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Services, are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. To the extent a dispute is not resolved informally, it will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Louisiana, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts, except where applicable law gives you a non-waivable right to a different forum.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@getsocialbridge.com.
