Our commitment
SocialBridge is built for people with different communication, cognitive, sensory, visual, hearing, speech, and motor needs. Accessibility is part of the product's core design, not an optional mode added afterward.
We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA across our public website and authenticated product. WCAG is a technical standard; it does not capture every individual access need, so we also rely on direct feedback from users.
Measures we take
Our current accessibility work includes:
- Semantic page structure, form labels, meaningful control names, and status messages.
- Keyboard access and visible focus indicators for interactive controls.
- Color and contrast tokens designed for readable interfaces in light and dark modes.
- Text layouts that support zoom, reflow, and smaller screens without requiring horizontal reading.
- A reduced-motion preference and system-level reduced-motion support.
- Text-based alternatives to voice input and spoken output.
- Options for sensory intensity, feedback style, and numerical progress displays.
- Error messages that identify the problem and provide a path to correct it.
- Automated checks and manual keyboard and assistive-technology review during development.
Voice and AI accessibility
Voice is optional. Core practice interactions can be completed with text, and spoken AI responses are also shown in written form. You can switch between voice and text without losing the purpose of the activity.
Speech recognition may be less accurate for some accents, speech patterns, background noise, or assistive speech technologies. Transcripts should remain editable or repeatable where the workflow allows. AI-generated language may also vary in clarity; users can request alternatives and report content that is confusing or inaccessible.
Compatibility
SocialBridge is designed for current versions of major browsers and common assistive technologies. Older browsers or unusual browser and assistive-technology combinations may not provide the same experience.
For the best experience, use an up-to-date browser with JavaScript enabled. Browser zoom, operating-system text settings, contrast preferences, and reduced-motion preferences should continue to work with the Services.
Current limitations
SocialBridge has not yet completed an independent, full-product WCAG 2.2 AA conformance audit. Some newer or third-party experiences, including payment interfaces, generated AI content, voice transcription, and embedded provider components, may contain barriers we have not yet identified.
We prioritize issues that block account access, practice completion, privacy controls, payment management, and communication with support. This statement will be updated as testing expands and known limitations are resolved.
Report an accessibility barrier
If something prevents you from using SocialBridge, email support@getsocialbridge.com. Please include the page or feature, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using if you are comfortable sharing it.
You do not need to disclose a diagnosis or disability to request help. We will acknowledge accessibility reports, work with you on an alternative when possible, and use the report to guide remediation.
Assessment and updates
Accessibility is evaluated through design review, code review, automated testing, manual keyboard testing, responsive-layout testing, and assistive-technology testing. Automated tools identify only part of the accessibility standard and do not replace human review.
We will revise this statement when our conformance status, testing coverage, or contact process materially changes.
