What SocialBridge is designed to do
SocialBridge AI supports social-communication practice and skill development. It helps users rehearse conversations, explore possible wording, prepare scripts, reflect on practice sessions, and communicate more deliberately.
SocialBridge is a preparation tool. It is not a replacement for real relationships, personal judgment, professional support, or direct communication with the people involved in a situation.
Where AI is used
AI may be used to:
- Play a character during a practice conversation.
- Suggest possible responses when you feel stuck.
- Rewrite a message in a selected tone.
- Generate scripts and conversation-preparation notes.
- Summarize practice and generate supportive feedback.
- Transcribe voice input and produce spoken playback.
- Screen some requests for safety concerns or prohibited content.
Generated content should be treated as a starting point you can review, change, reject, or replace.
AI can make mistakes
AI can misunderstand context, miss cultural or relationship dynamics, state incorrect information, repeat bias, or suggest language that does not sound like you. A response that appears confident may still be wrong.
Do not assume that a simulated person's response predicts how a real person will react. Review important details independently and use your own judgment before acting on an AI suggestion.
Not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
SocialBridge is not intended to function as a medical device and does not provide medical or mental-health advice, diagnosis, treatment, assessment, or monitoring. Medical-visit scenarios are designed to help you organize and practice what you want to say to a qualified professional, not to interpret symptoms or recommend care.
Never delay or disregard professional advice because of content generated by SocialBridge. Questions about symptoms, medication, treatment, or health decisions should be directed to a qualified health professional.
SocialBridge is not a HIPAA covered service and is not intended for protected health information (PHI). Do not enter medical-record details, test results, or health information tied to an identifiable person; practice medical conversations using roles or general descriptions instead.
Use alongside a clinician
A clinician may use SocialBridge as an optional practice aid, but SocialBridge does not replace the clinician's independent professional judgment. Activity, confidence ratings, transcripts, and generated feedback are practice signals, not clinical measurements.
Using SocialBridge or connecting an account to a clinician does not create a professional relationship between you and SocialBridge.
Not an emergency or crisis service
SocialBridge cannot monitor you, contact emergency services, or provide immediate crisis support. Do not use it when you or someone else may be in immediate danger.
In the United States, call 911 for an immediate emergency or call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Outside the United States, contact your local emergency or crisis service. AI safety responses may be incomplete, so seek human help directly.
Sensitive information and privacy
Practice content is processed by AI and voice providers as described in our Privacy Policy. Enter only the information needed for practice. Consider using roles or general descriptions instead of another person's full name, contact information, medical record details, or other identifying information.
If a generated response includes information you believe is unsafe, inaccessible, or inappropriate, stop using that response and report it to support@getsocialbridge.com.
Your responsibility
You decide whether an AI suggestion is appropriate for your circumstances. Check facts, adapt wording to your voice, respect other people's privacy, and consult a qualified professional when a decision requires professional expertise.
These limitations are part of our Terms of Service. Questions can be sent to support@getsocialbridge.com.
